DIY Sun Visor Plugs
Discussion
Decided to remove my sun visors today as they are pretty useless and only get in the way when putting the roof up/down.
Had a look around the web for suitable plugs to fill the unsightly hole that is left when you remove them and the cheapest appear to be Moss for around a tenner.
Thought I could do something homebrew instead so got busy when I got home from work tonight.
The hole when you remove your visor:

Separating the visor body from the plastic fixing plate:

Found this little plastic screw cover in amongst the multitude of stuff I have collected over the years - think it came from an old wardrobe:

Fitted with some bluetac in case I ever want to refit the visors:

Fitted on the car:

It even ties in with my Montana's colour scheme

Total cost £0 and 10 mins.
I'd forgotten how much fun home made mods can be!
Cheers,
Steven
