Decided to remove my sun visors today as they are pretty useless and only get in the way when putting the roof up/down.

Had a look around the web for suitable plugs to fill the unsightly hole that is left when you remove them and the cheapest appear to be Moss for around a tenner.

Thought I could do something homebrew instead so got busy when I got home from work tonight.

The hole when you remove your visor:



Separating the visor body from the plastic fixing plate:


Found this little plastic screw cover in amongst the multitude of stuff I have collected over the years - think it came from an old wardrobe:


Fitted with some bluetac in case I ever want to refit the visors:


Fitted on the car:


It even ties in with my Montana's colour scheme biggrin


Total cost £0 and 10 mins.

I'd forgotten how much fun home made mods can be!

I fitted white LED 501 bulbs in mine and made use of them smile
