Red line running around car. Simple to remove?
Discussion
Ive come across a car that i might buy. However, there is a thin red line running around the entired body of the car which i really dislike.
Is it just going to be a decal that can be removed with some warm soapy water or is it going to be a tough job getting rid of it?
Does it signify a special edition or is it just something the owner may have put there?
This could be a deal breaker for me. I dislike it that much.

May need attacking with a machine polisher though in case the paint around it has discoloured
I did think it might be very white against the rest of the paintwork. I do get a bit OCD when I first clean a car and no doubt this one wont be any different. Hopefully a good T cut and some elbow grease will see the rest of the car match the colour of the line.
Might even post a few before and after pics

I quite like that ! Reminds me of Face's corvette in the A-Team

If you find the end of the strip and prise it off a little then with a hairdryer on a low setting start to heat it 6 inches at a time i am pretty sure you could use a finger in the groove to roll it off without marking the paint... Since its in the groove it shouldnt leave any noticeable marks.. worst case is T-Cut on a rag and use a finger to work it in

The paint should t cut up quite easily after the stripe is off.
You should be aware that the early white cars have really bad paint, The bond between the top coat and primer is very poor and tends to fall off in patches revealing the greyish primer.
Look out for chips on this one around panel edges etc and miss-matched panels if it's been painted.
