My front number plate and plinth are both cracked and I need to replace them. I have gone to try to remove the plinth but have got stuck as it is held in place by some unusual screws.
Does anybody happen to know what tool I can use to unscrew this?
It’s not a screw at all, they are large headed aluminium rivets.. just drill the centre and the head of the rivet and it will come off allowing you to remove the plinth..
From memory, a new plinth will come with new rivets clipped to the back..
