Mx5 and Ulez

Finally persuaded the other half that a gentle sports car is needed in our dotage and she likes the MX5.

I've been doing some searching and loads of reading and I've turned my head inside out about what's Ulez compliant, and what's not. Living in the hated zone is a real nuisance.

Is there a simple rule of thumb to save me time?

Just pump the reg number into the ULEZ checker and it'll tell you Yes or No.
