Tag Heuer Repair
Discussion
I have an old Tag Heuer that I had bought for my 18th which is in dire need of repair.
The glass is cracked and needs replacing, the battery needs replacing and the plastic bezel could do with being replaced as it is quite worn.
It is similar to this watch

I have been quoted between £200 - £250 to repair it at my local Goldsmiths.
Is this about right?? Seems steep to be as this is probably more than the watch is worth!
Anyone reccomend anywhere else? I am a bit reluctant to send it away though in case it gets lost!

I've used these guys in the past for my battery replacement on my Tag. http://www.swiss-serv.co.uk/
Goldsmiths will most likely take their cut and then send it directly back to Tag anyway and I've not heard good things about them. An independent is at least dependent on positive feedback.
