Customising unused/unwanted watches?

I have a Citizen Eco Drive Stealth lying around at home which I have fallen out of love with. It wasn't massively expensive new so I guess its pretty much worthless now and therefore no point in selling it on.

Any suggestions for ways to make me want to wear it again? Changing the strap seems the obvious answer, but I can't imagine any particular colour that would work? I know there are some of you out there who have customised watches in other ways, would be good to see a few examples of other peoples work in the hope that it might motivate me, but also because its just good to see what other folks are up to.

You could try a black NATO or Canvas strap,

I'd use it as is for your gardening - DIY work watch,

Mine lives on the bedroom window sill ignored for months but always at the right time (BST/GMT dependent as appropriate) ready for it's next battering
