First of all this is not a for sale thread, the watch wont be for sale until the spring and any emails regarding buying it will be ignored. I am just looking for some advice.

I have a 16613 Sub, 2001 so has the gold through the clasp. Its in overall good shape, no real marks on it other than the light ones ones the clasp/bracelet as expected. It comes with box, original papers, Sub booklet and a Rolex service card from 2 years ago.

Can anyone give me a real valuation based on the current market, I can see on Chrono24 and others dealers its around £6500 for one with box/papers but from past experience the two tone Sub's dont sell as easy to it's probably down to what the buyers think its worth.
Has anyone on here sold one recently?

I've been trying to put a value on my BLNR GMT, I understand Watchfinder isn't the best to go off as given their market share they tend to inflate prices somewhat. Chrono is good to get an idea for private sales. I've also contacted a couple of local dealers to see what they'd give me for it, and then adding a little on top of that.

I was offered a mint one with service stickers yesterday by a watcher dealer in Hatton Garden for £5.3k. Why not get a price from watchfinder as this will give you and indication of what it was worth?

If it was a stainless steel one I'd be messaging you!

I did try WF the other week and they came back with a ridiculous offer of about £4700!

I was thinking around the £5500 mark, having had a quick look on eBay completed listing there is a few going for around this but I suppose it depends on the day/buyer etc.

See what happens in the coming months, slightly regretting selling my 16610 now.

Nah. I think the 16613 is substantially more gorgeous than the s/s.

If the 16613 is the gold/ss Submariner with the blue or black dial, then its a classic model and has always looked classy.

I suppose a dealer like Watchfinder would be a good place to try, but obviously they have to allow for their cost and profit margin.

But could be seen as garish in comparison, with the s/s being more understated.

Personally I think anywhere near £5k for a 2001 model in a worn condition is a fair price.

It is the black face model, seems a bit marmite but I do personally like them. Just not as much as a stainless unfortunately.
I had a two tone Daytona a couple of years back and found that a bit too 'bling' for me but thought the Sub might suit.

However for £5000 I would keep it, its to low to tempt me to sell.
