Got a quote to service my Seamaster at £350 inc vat . Does this sound ok ?

This is an approved Omega agent if that makes any difference

Sounds spot on and very reasonable.

Service takes longer than a car as the movement will be dismantled, cleaned, re-oiled and re-assembled. New seals and change out of anything that's worn.

Thanks for that google is coming up with similar, to my shame it hasnt been done since 2003 when I bought it but its very rarely worn

Thats very reasonable, i was quoted £576 by goldsmiths! confused

Mine is going to an independent guy who is ex Rolex, not paying goldsmiths, plus their attitude was terrible.

So the watch is away at Swiss Time Services , quote turned out to be just under £400 at £394 , thats for a service , new crown and return post . just need to wait a while now
