So my old faithful black on black Citizen Eco Drive that I wear for work was knackered after about 8 years service so I thought I'd send it in for a quote for new bezel and glass. Whilst £176 was a bit steep I decided to go ahead as it had been a good watch and replacing it would have been a pain. I would have really liked to have the strap re-anodised as it was scratched to buggery, but hey ho. No point in going mad over a work watch.
Imagine my joy at receiving a brand new identical replacement in the post. Well chuffed.

That's a nice result. Was that with Citizen directly?

My EcoDrive must be getting on to about the same age now and is looking well properly battered. I'm on the fence about whether or not I'd want it all shiny and new smile
