Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations on independents where we can get a new battery fitted for a Hublot?

Thanks

I didn’t get much of a response the last time I asked this question, so we ended up going to Hublot, as you apparently need a special tool to remove the back.

Now needs another battery, so wanted to know if there were any recommendations this time around?

Thanks

I thought a quartz hublot was a wind up (as in fake) until I googled it. Never realised they made a quartz and I'm a Hublot owner too! rolleyes

Never seen the back of a quartz one so can't advise but I can't see any decent watch repairer not being able to do the change.

Hi Ninjin,

Thanks for the reply - as you say, not a ‘wind up’.

I tried a couple of local places who said they couldn’t remove it - may have to stick with Hublot, but £160 just for a battery stings. Was hoping for a recommendation.

SIL has a Breitling quartz too, quoted £700 for battery and full service.

Thanks

Simon

I've heard horror stories of Breitling battery changes where they touch one of the coils but it is only on the digital/analogue ones I think.

A decent watchmaker should be able to tackle the Hublot.... In that, I don't mean your usual high street retail watch shop but a proper watchmaker.

Maybe post a new thread requesting a recommended watchmaker in your area.
