Hi guys
Cruising the Baltic last two weeks and every time we go for a walk around the shops, deck 5 is a temptation. I have to suffer in silence

Used Rolex

Omega

Breitling with all the latest models in stock

Cartier

Others

I have resisted to date but with still two full days to go and discounts a possibility I may well cave in

I had the exact same thing when I stayed at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman last year (Work incentive trip, not showing off!). My room was towards the back of the hotel and to get to the beach, restaurants and bars I had to walk past this place:

3/4 times a day I had to walk past. I went in probably once each day (When my wife wasn't with me) and probably drove the sales reps mad that I kept looking but not buying. Torture!

Almost like they do it on purpose. Several of my work colleagues bought something during the trip.

There's only one watch in that Rolex cabinet I'd take a look at.

I wouldn't touch those Swiss Crown supplied Rolex with a bargepole. From my experience, they never get supplied with the original box and papers, are too often retro fitted with aftermarket sapphire crystals, diamond dials and bezels, and virtually every one has had most of the removable links taken out.

Even with the discounts that are sometimes offered, I find you are better off getting a decent pre owned watch from a land based jeweller, then paying for a service if it's needed. Unless you have a decent amount of onboard credit burning a hole in your account....
