Longines Admiral 5 Star
Discussion
Hello!
First time on the watch forum so please be nice.
My grandfather has a couple of nice watches, one JLC which he wears every day and also this Longines Admiral. The watch is broken and apparently H Samuel sent the watch back to Longines who said that it would cost either £1.1k - £1.4k to fix. Absolute madness and I think they are taking the piss (grandfather has a touch of Alzheimer's).
Anyway, he forgot about the watch and left it in the jewellers for a while year and now it is the possession of my dad.
Does anyone know what it would be worth if fixed? Is it even a decent watch?
Many thanks, picture of watch below.

One on Chono24:

For repair I'd suggest Joe at Anglesey watches (a member on here) or Rigga on here.
