I would like to buy my wife a watch for her birthday and am planning on a Omega Constellation (27mm, quartz, bi-metal, mother of pearl face, and diamond hour markers).
I am travelling through LHR and JFK in the next week. Where is likely to be best to shop? Any experience of how much additional discount they can give?

The model I am looking at is £2733 at WoS LHR T3, £3280 at Beaverbrooks in High street.

Importing a watch from JFK to UK means you are liable for import duty. 20% IIRC.

Email one of the grey channels - Hackett Watches or Iconic Watches for everything new that's NOT Rolex.

I have good experiences of both the above,

I got my Omega from DomH, picked it up from him in London and it was cheaper than Duty Free (I was flying to Canada the next week). Definitely worth getting in touch with him.

I recently sourced a Seamaster via Dom, cheaper than anywhere else a UK supplied thumbup

Spotted a Speedmaster in Heathrow and Dom quoted lower for me too. I didn't buy in the end but I'd be going to him first.

Likewise a Planet Ocean last year, faultless and highly recommended. thumbup
