Interesting brand and history, although all pretty recent. Some attractive products - to my eyes. Not often seen though.

What do my fellow PHers think? Anyone got one?

I am in love with the basic, small seconds Tonda in steel or white gold. It is one of the most elegant watches I've handled and I'm contemplating chopping in two watches to get the Parmigiani. It is minimalist, has a stunning case and lugs and makes half my collection look chintzy and over-wrought. Good size too, I like that they've not made it one of those effete 36mm things internet people whine about incessantly these days.

Its OK, but many people prefer asiago if they try the two back to back.

I bought some equipment for my workshop from a Patek agent who had worked for them in his younger years. He was a big fan of the brand. There are better options if you care about resale value but if you don't they're an interesting option.

My thought too. The Tonda 1950 Malachite looks lovely... But pricey.

That's lovely. The Hodinkee article is insightful, I thought.

Sorry it’s takem me a while to post pics.

I’ve a bit of a left field watch appreciation so this will not be to everyone’s taste but I think it’s great for a ‘suit and tie’ everyday watch. The finishing is exquisite. I’ve never held any real high end watches but there are loads of nice touches. It wears really well with the contoured case lugs wrapping nicely round my wrist.

The movement is wonderful to look at, is running at chronometer accuracy and the Rotor moves at the slightest touch. Get in close with a loupe and the details are fantastic.

Many thanks to Dominic Hackett for a smooth transaction 😊

Lovely bit of something very off the beaten track.
Well done for following your heart/eyes, rather than residual value.

53x11 - I like the whole look of that one. The shape, the size, the font, etc. Very nice.

Is your user name from time trialling, in old money that would have been about 130 inches?

More of a Roadie now but when I was testing it was more like 55x11 wink
