Was wondering what other ones about, besides this of course.

I have a few different watches now, but recently been obsessed about Seiko Presage and have 4 of them (Japanese Domestic models). I believe some Seiko collectors are called Seikoholics.

I went on one of the forums, but unless you had a Grand Seiko you were looked down upon as a second class citizen and I cant be asked with the arguing and trolling back and forth.

I would appreciate some views where to look.

Many thanks

Lovely! Out of interest, what winder is that? Mine has just died.

Thanks. It's one of these:

CHIYODA Automatic Daul Watch Winder with Quiet Japanese Motor

I'm still not entirely convinced by the idea of a watch winder, but I needed somewhere to stick the two Seikos and they're a bit of a faff to set / wind.

Lots of the winders around seem a bit 'old man' - I didn't really want one made of leather! Plenty also get rubbish reviews and I didn't want to spend a fortune.

The one I ended up with gets good reviews and I also think it looks pretty smart. A reddish wood on the sides, gloss black at the front, and grey carbon fibre inside shouldn't really work. But they all seem to contrast quite nicely. You can't hear it with the lid closed and there's various modes to choose from.

Oh, and it came with a free umbrella!

I've got an Aevitas carbon fibre dual which is nice. I've also got the chiyoda one. Prefer the Aevitas. Watches fit better

The watch forum I use most is TZ-UK.

There are a few threads about it here. It's certainly not for everyone.

Yeah, watch forums are weird places. Approach them with care!
