Early ‘80s Omega De Ville - thoughts?

Morning all,

I have inherited this De Ville from my wife’s grandfather. It seems to be an early 1980s model. I think it might be 18k gold.

It’s pretty dinky at 33mm but I kind of like it. My beater is an Accurist Submariner copy that’s serving me well, so this is very different, but that’s part of the appeal.

It needs a new battery, any ideas if the batteries are even still available for these, and if so, if it’s an easy change?

Yes, the battery will still be available.

Changing it is fairly simple. Have a look on Youtube for many examples of how to. If you don't fancy it then any jewellers should be able to do it while you wait.
