Hi
Any thoughts on buying from watch master?

I’ve been looking for a jlc matster calendar pre 2013,(the model with the power reserve) they seem to trade at £5-6k regardless of age.
I found one on watchmaster for £4,300 no box or papers. I never sell so not too bothered about that. Not comfortable with buying without seeing it in the flesh. Emailed them about a viewing but had no response..
Do they have a showroom in London?

any thoughts?

From what I know they will take close up, detailed photos of the watch in question for you if you ask.

Whilst I had a negative buying experience with watchmaster, I will attest to their email ‘rapidness’. Perhaps it was the specific watch I was trying to buy (unlikely) but I had a sales rep respond to my queries usually within hours. This includes a request to see the watch at one of their locations - can’t remember which, don’t suppose it matters.

Reckon you’ve just gotten unlucky, or your mail slipped through the net - try again?

More than 1 and they will get a watch to the most convenient branch for you to inspect.

Give them a bell.
