Hi everyone I have just been given an old Omega watch. I have no idea of the model but I quite like it.
But it’s a wind up and I have never had one before (just a trusty g shock) how often should I wind my omega up? I will only wear it very occasionally maybe a few times a month. Thanks

Daily if wearing it otherwise just whenever you wear it.

Thank you. It is my first “proper” watch. If anything knows anything about it I would be great full. Just doing a bit of googiling see what I can find out

I don't know a lot about that era, but looks similar to my manual Geneve which is receipted 1970.

Dial is also very similar to my 1968 Seamaster.
Easiest way to identify it is to remove the back. The model number should be stamped inside and the caliber number should be stamped on the movement.
