Oh Wow! I mean like serious megaCongratulations man ( /woman /trans-pre /trans-post/ insert personal delusion about your physical gender, race, or species)(1).
But, for reference, in this forum, your first post should have been "Hello, I'm Jack( /Jill /a martian) and I'm an addict."

Note 1.
This is the internet. Yes I'm poking fun at people's new found propensity to declare their own gender in spite of their body's dangly bits. If that offends you, well I'm sorry(2) but you're just going to have to grow a thicker skin. I can honestly state that I intend no offence. However, I do recognise that some people are fragile, so I've added this note to provide clarity for anyone upset at having their or indeed someone else's (and lets face it, aren't people who get indignant by proxy just the worst evah?) chain yanked. I feel I may have digressed, a new member eh? Holy(3) carp Batman(4)!

Note 2.
I'm not. I couldn't care less. But if saying I was made the bitter pill easier to swallow for anyone, then I feel that the little white lie was worth it.

Note (3)
By saying "holy" I neither mean to acknowledge nor deny the previous, present or future existence of one or more deities. Personally, I'm firmly in the "there is no cloud fairy, never has been, never will be." camp. But I won't be offended if you vehemently disagree. See? It's all about having a thick skin and letting other people be who they want to be. Anyroadooplikechuck, "holy carp" just seemed like an appropriate phase to capture how staggered I am at the appearance of a new member. Whatever next?

E.T.A.
Note (4) For the moderators.
I'm not avoiding the swear filter. I am playing on the original batman TV series, in which Burt Ward would blaspheme in the mildest imaginable manner, rather than swapping the middle letters to dodge the filter. 'Carp' is a perfectly legitimate non-sweary English word. Carp is not even in the same category as 'pissed' which many people perceive to be swearing when it in fact isn't and just means 'wonky'.
