Hi all, just wanting some advice on how people store watches (safes etc) and who they insure them with? It's not the worlds biggest or best collection but definitely worth tucking away. I have no idea where to look with safes or where to start so any recommendations people could make would be greatly appreciated! Insurance wise, I have a couple of watches that are worth over their RRP so would be keen on a company who appreciate that should the worst happen!

Cheers!

You can rent storage boxes at branches of Metro Bank as long as you have an account with them.

For insurance try M&S Premier contents cover.

Insurance via my Home & Contents Policy. The likes of Hiscox & NFU Mutual have high single item value thresholds so unless your buying / selling watches over £15k you don't have to keep letting them know the precise make up of your collection as long as you're not under insured in total.

I got a safe to the spec the insurance company insisted upon.
