2019 should see me sell more than I buy, there have been a few watches that have tempted me recently though when my current collection includes watches that get little, if any, wear then it does seem daft to add more and dilute what I already have.

Good luck with that hehe

Two in for me. Zero outs. I'm not very good at outs.

Cool idea for a thread!

Out:

I prefer a leather strap so it’s going to my brother for his birthday.

Out:

Bought in a job lot, repaired and out to its next owner.

In:

When Variomatic fixes it, that is (hint hint Joe). My wife’s grandfather’s Omega Deville.

Out:

Another from a job lot, a new Nato strap, currently for sale!

In:

Only a Casio Edifice but the illumination is useful for work, plus it has dual time/alarms so s possible travel/work watch.

In:

This will be on this strap:

Quite enough for January!

In: nothing
Out: nothing

Engine rebuild and suspension refresh on my Elise took up any spare cash I had.

Love that BB36 and I’m very taken with the Orient Bambino too...

In: Garmin Fenix 5.

Out: none, but I've barely worn any of them. This "data geek" bug has worked out to be easy on the wallet.

Also "in" on a technicality, my Carrera which I haven't worn for a couple of years due to, ahem, "middle age spread" which I have now tackled!

Have you actually got one? Website implies they haven't been made yet but isn't entirely clear.

Yup, I bought mine in the Spring (pre-owned) and I think they've been in production since late Autumn last year.

If you're referring to the Newmark 6BB then the first deliveries are due in Jan or Feb next year, once the Kickstarter purchases have been sent then they'll be available straight from the website. Ewan is also working on one or two other watches, according to his FB posts.

A vintage Pepsi and new ceramic GMTII in.

But let the flat four Sub go out (rude not to for the prices they’re now fetching) that funded a third new GMT in black and enough left to buy the next ‘offer’ from my AD.

Hoping I might still get a call from my AD before the year ends to say he’s got in either a Batman or new Pepsi for me...c’mon Santa, do your thing!!

2 Ins, 0 Outs.

Really into Seikos right now, cracking watches for the money.

Looking to buy a house in 2019 so it will be a quiet one for purchases.

Final one (and my favourite of the year):

The photos really do not do justice to the Mühle Glasshütte - the interchange of light on the surfaces is something else.

You may not be any good at getting rid of watches, but you are very good at buying good watches. I'd have any one of those in the blink of an eye. Great taste!
