My fathers old Zenta auto is gold coloured. I assume it's gold plated. There is a stamp in between the lugs that says "gold filled G10" then after that there is a stamp in the shape of an arched window with LL (or it might be a U) inside. Can anyone confirm what this means?
Cheers

The G10 may reference to the quality of the gold i e 10k gold. Gold filled is essentially a very thick gold plating around 5 to 10 times thicker than normal gold plating. Not sure on the other marking.

Thanks for that. I'm looking to get it serviced and cleaned up. If it's gold plated then a polish may not be a good idea.
