I really want one of these watches and I am planning on treating myself to one this year. Where would be the best place to buy one? I don't mind if it is new or second hand, as long as it is in good condition. Are discounts available for these watches? What type of discount should I aim for if I was to buy one brand new?

Thanks.

Not in copper but bought mine in blue yesterday at an AD in Dublin with -14%. I was originally told they wouldn’t go above -10% but seems competition between the only 2 ADs in the city won over.

Looks nice that. I have a few blue watches already but that does look good. I'm sold on the copper one though. I know it's a Breitling so will be worthless 5 minutes after purchase, but I do not buy watches for investment.

I cannot seem to find many copper watches in my local AD's when I have looked.

I got myself a Copperhead Bronze 46 a short while ago, details on this thread:

Its a really nice watch, I really enjoy it and wears very well for a large watch. I like the face the colour is a bit different.

I got a good discount too from my local dealer in Leicester.

It was seeing your pics that set me wanting one. What size discount did you get if you don't mind my asking?

I think it was close to 18% if I recall, also I seemed to get mine the day the prices went up by a few £100s, but they honoured the lower price as the website still showed the old price.

I had to order mine in, they didn't have stock in this colour.

Let me know if you want any other details, happy to share.

I looked into getting one of these a few months ago - have shelved it for various reasons but if you're going through an airport, duty free prices seemed to be roughly in line with the discounts people reported at the time.
I also emailed Dominic Hackett who I've seen is highly regarded around here - he was very helpful and also gave a great estimate.

Thanks guys! I bought my TAG Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 through Dom so I already know that he is a good guy. If he could get me the same discount that he got me last time then I'd be a very happy man.
