Simple question really. I haven't worn a watch in 20+ years. I don't need to. I have a clock by my bed, one is on the TV screen in the morning anyway. I have one in the car and one on my laptop and phone.

If I need to know the time it is there. A watch just seems redundant and unnecessary.

Maybe, now, they are just jewelry and pieces of interest?

Only recently started wearing one after a colleague got me interested.

It's a piece of jewellery and an item of interest. Half the time it doesn't even have the right time, as I don't wear it for a day and it stops (automatic).

I have always worn a watch, and I currently own 7 of them, most of which are Swiss Made mechanical timepieces.

I like the idea of having something traditional, hand-made and analogue on my wrist in the 21st century.

Like the OP, nearly 15 years since I carried a Casio on my wrist.
Time pieces all over and of course, as they say, you can always ask a Policemen

I hadn’t worn one since I was a kid, but my wife bought me an Apple Watch a few years ago and ever since I’ve worn it every day. I dabbled with a ‘posh’ watch for best, but didn’t get on with it and missed the usefulness of the Apple one. No way would I be without it now.

My grandson got a Gold Rotary skeleton watch for his 21st from his parents. He’s always wearing it when we see him.

The Rotary lifetime guarantee is very good. I sent my watch back for a service but they said a part was no longer available so I got a new replacement watch.

Yep, and like others have stated I'm so used to it I miss it when its not on. I have three 'proper' watches (automatic Swiss ones) and a handful of other cheaper ones.

Looking at my first smart watch soon, waiting on Tissot to release theirs and see what they're like.

Only when I'm socialising. Never for Work

Like the above poster, have to spend the first 2 mins every time resetting the time. Did have an auto watch winder, but it was a waste of time wink to bother with for me.

Also a GPS Garmin Forerunner, when sporting biggrin

Have had G-Shocks in my yoof.

I find the frequent reminder that I'm not doing enough exercise allows me to cling to the promise of a fitter future. hehe

I have a 40 year old Pulsar Chronograph that I bought myself in my mid twenties, it was pretty pricey back then and seems to be worth slightly more these days . Like many others I feel naked without one . In 40 years I have replaced the battery a few times and replaced a pin once .

I bought a sea dweller in 2002 and have worn it every day since

That’s 6000 odd days and I think (can’t remember) it was 2k ish

That’s 30p a day and it’s now worth 5-7k

Part of my life

Like many I feel strange withou my watch.

To add to the debate left or right arm? I have always worn left but only because I was told to by my dad when I was 12.

Right - because I am left-handed. When I got my first watch I wore it on my left wrist, but the buckle scratched and snagged any page I was writing on, so swapped to right and have done so for past 55 years.
