I put my Omega PO in for service 3 years ago. A week later I had it regulated as it was gaining time. Fast forward to this year and it has been progressively getting slower and is now running 6/7seconds a day slow. A quick email to the Omega shop and was advised to take it in for their watch maker to have a look at it, it was suspected that it was magnetised.

I took the watch in yesterday and they checked it and it is just running slow and needs regulating. And best of all... its being done FOC.

Cannot complain with that and I just thought it was worth sharing a positive story :-)

I am rather hoping they lose it to be honest with you, having read that thread on here a while back.

I have dealt with Omega Bond St, ordered a nato strap and deployant clasp from them for my Speedie

Strap had to be ordered from Geneva, took 4 weeks to arrive (was supposed to be 1 week).
By way of apology they didn't charge me for it. So effectively I paid only for the clasp.

Very pleasant staff and happy to let you try on anything.

The Royal Exchange shop (City) were also helpful and friendly when I dealt with them for a service for my Broad Arrow (sadly gone)

TBH I find most watch dealers much more helpful than car dealers! Rolex in Harrods were also very nice.

The omega boutiques in London are first class. Agreed re harrods also. Found them all great.

Usual Rolex dealers in London, less so.

Great to hear more positive experiences.

Got a call on Friday to say my watch is ready for collection. Lovely.

I would quite happily spend a small fortune at omega. Nice staff and not snooty.
