Looking to speak with current JLC owners, preferably owning a JLC Master Calendar.

I've recently purchased my first, the master calendar meteorite dial and it's without papers and the only book that came with it was for the master calendar.

Is the warranty a booklet as opossed to a card and should there be other booklets, i.e. a jaeger lecoultre booklet?

Funnily enough i posted on another forum 5 years ago when it came out saying how it was, put my name down at an AD but never got a call, 5 years later managed to get it for a fairly good price! And as brucie says when the price is right!

I went with Steel, can't justify the cost for PM versions of watches nowadays, complimentary wrist shots attached! Really needs to be seen in the flesh to be appreciated.

Does the dial offer enough contrast against the SS? It looks so much better in pics against red gold.

May I ask how much you paid? Less than 8?

JLC are such excellent value on the used market. I have the 37mm version of that watch in rose gold and without the fancy dial. It was called the Master Moon back then. I keep thinking I’ll sell it for something different but I’d need to add some extra funds to find something of similar quality.

My paperwork is very similar to that shown by GCH so, yes it’s the guarantee booklet you are missing. They aren’t the credit card sized papers some brands have. If you sent it to JLC for servicing you’d get service papers back..

Love the Master Control series. Such an elegant shape and beautifully build.

I used to have a black dialled Geographic which unfortunately got stolen and I never replaced (wasn’t insured...)

It doens't much in non daylight but in the Sun & Light it definately pops! Gold does look better but it's nearly double the price!

Yes, much much much less than 8! Feel free to make an offer wink

Yeah got it for a steal, the no paperwork did bug me but the buyer provided me with the original sales invoice.

I belive the meteorite variants have since been discontinued too so it should hold decent used value.
