Thought this would be an interesting thread with a lot of diverse interesting answers. Feel free to add a photo and reason whether sentimental or because it’s a “grail” piece.
Will post my own soon!

Go on then …. I'll play,

The snoopy isn't so special as there are 5441 worldwide smile
This watch got me into horology as … as a lowly factory worker .. I was shot down by someone who "knew his stuff" said I was talking bks when I joined a conversation about watches and said i'd seen an Omega with snoopy on the face... "No they've never made one" punch …. anyway 4 years later I bought this …. and I intend to keep it as my pension fund,
The RJ is 1 or 20 so most definitely meets the special criteria, As others have commented .. The watch and owner "Both special" biglaugh
Can't understand why people would buy a Sub, a Pepsi, a Kermit, a GMT2 ….. A variety of watch styles is where it's at thumbup

Most special, Audemars Piguet Royal Oak. Regret selling it especially with prices skyrocketing nowadays.

Owned approx 3-4 years ago, bought extremely cheap at 8k, sold for 9 and a half and now worth in excess of 12/13 and is now discontinued.

The ultra thin case, quality and finish just can't be bet by another SS watch!

Probably the most significant watch I’ll ever buy. Was a wedding present to myself. Bought never worn with all stickers intact. Kept in box for 5 painstaking months until I wore it for the first time on our wedding day.

Excellent patience there! I'd definitely have given it a test wear to make sure it was keeping accurate time for my wedding day, or some other flimsy excuse.

NIce, I have one too, also unworn and intact. I hide it, so I don't have to think about wearing it :-). I have a Speedmaster 57 and Tudor BB 79220 for watches to wear, plus some others

For me it's my Speedmaster Professional, bought after selling a money pit of a car as something to pass on to my little'un in years (hopefully) to come.

Inadvertently I bought a "replica" about 15 years ago before I knew what the watch was because I loved the look of it, 12 years later I bought the real thing.

What’s the latest purchase may I ask? A photo of said watch would be a lovely bonus!

That's the point. It doesn't matter. I have a collecting addiction, but since you ask:

A Memostar alarm from the mid 70's in perfect all original condition. It's a Sicura watch with an AS movement inside. £50 off ebay.

Lovely pair, what made you get rid of the PP?

Thanks.

After lusting after a 5712 for years, when I got it I just found it felt more "delicate" than the rest of my watches, which tend to be more "toolish"
I was very conscious of how finely finished it was too, so I was worried about picking up even minor scratches that would have shown up quite badly.
Being able to make a few quid on the sale made the decision a lot easier too.

Congratulations if you managed to get it for list price that it quite an accomplishment these days. Did you sell recently I’ve heard they’re selling for higher than usual on the pre-owned market with some even going for 2-3X list.
Yes, I heard the nautilus felt delicate from a few people, but that the bracelet was 2nd to none for comfort? I’d be close to neurotic if I ever owned one regarding scratches laugh

Why on earth do I really, really like that? smile
What a lovely looking thing, thanks for showing.

Me? My black faced, stainless 116520 Daytona. I could only just afford it six years ago, would be well out of reach now. Never attracts the wrong attention, and I feel it’s just ‘me’.

Apologies for the pic
