Hi Everyone

I wear an old Seiko daily, and still like it. However I do prefer a leather strap but due to the design of it, I have no idea where to find one or if I can get one.

Here is my watch, you can see where the strap joins isn't a straight line as usual.

Anyone able to help?

Buy a cheap strap and have at it with a Stanley knife?

Certainly an option, but would be nice to have one that is designed to fit.

Is the bracelet end link part of the case. Not quite sure from the pic.

Here's one currently on Ebay that has good pictures of the strap fitting.

Is there any such thing as a strap which sits "outside" the lugs rather than between? If I'm seeing that correctly, where would the spring bar fit into? Unless someone makes a very specific strap for that watch, you may be unlucky unless I'm not understanding how the bracelet fits? Do you have a pic of just the case?

I'm guessing that the spring bar goes through the case, and then into either end of the strap. That's what it looks like anyway.

I think if one existed I would have found it on the net somewhere.

Alas, looks like I will have to either make my own, or just continue with the bracelet.

If I make my own and it's not pretty damn good, it wont be going on.
