Hello, I have a 2004 Seamaster automatic bought new
Had it serviced for the first time 2 years ago by the official place, full service which is major work, full stripdown & rebuild
It has now stopped completely and looking at records I got it back just over 2 years ago - 2 years 2 months
The work has a 2 year warranty and it looks like it is outside that
Disappointing that it worked perfectly for 13 years, then just over 2 years after a full and expensive service it stops again
What's a realistic / fair expectation?

IMO, I would send it back via whoever you used to get it to omega before.
It shouldn’t have stopped completely and if it’s related to the service, then omega will normally honour the guarantee if it’s just out.

Failing that, there are plenty of us watchmakers knocking about on here, who will recommend someone local for you if you need.

Thanks, they have just agreed to look at it even though the warranty has just expired - I was wondering if I would get any good will or if it was reasonable to expect any - thanks.
