This follows on from my thread here: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

Chosen strap now received for review. This one: https://www.finwatchstraps.com/collections/omega/p...

...and fitted to my 1968 Speedy Pro...

The first thing I noticed, compared to some other leather straps, is how supple the reindeer leather is. Sometimes a stiff strap can take a while to mould itself around the wrist but this one is super bendy...

There's a long list of stitching colours on the web page for each strap. The beige stitching on this one matches in nicely with the off-white hour markers...

Choosing a strap length from the website I wasn't quite sure which would fit correctly and so I opted to email them with my wrist size of 7 1/2" and they got the length just right for me. Excellent communication to check I was happy before proceeding to ship the strap. Nice polished buckle was another choice I made from the options list...

The edges are nicely finished and stitching very neat...

As I near the back end of this short review, here's a photo of the back end...

In Summary I'm happy with the choice of strap as an alternative to the metal bracelet. Brown and tan straps seem to go well with the Speedy Pro and the lighter stitching adds just enough extra interest. The strap is so comfortable thanks to the soft leather that I don't know I'm wearing it.

I'm very happy with the strap and many thanks to those on the earlier thread who helped me choose it.
