Do womens' watches hold their value like some mens' do?

If so, which ones?

Generally no. The exception is Rolex, which don't lose a shedload. There may be some exceptions to the general rule but I'm not expert enough to know them.

Not in the same way as the popular men’s, particularly the smaller ladies ones; just less demand I guess.

I guess men generally dont wear a lot of jewellery, apart from a watch. Judging by my wife & daughter they seem to spend a lot on Earrings & handbags ? So watches not that high on their "must have list"?

I actually suspected that it's because women like pretty things, whereas men like things that other men know to be expensive, rare and/or nerdy.

I bet there aren't any 'Show Us Your Earrings' threads on Mumsnet.

I also think women care more about whether something is new or not.
