I’m looking for a good holiday watch. One I can wear all day every day. Swim in the sea, swim in the pool. One that doesn’t look too bad in the evening.

I’m looking for a quartz one so I don’t have to worry about keeping it wound. Not too big. A bit of a quality feel. Dark coloured rubber or fabric strap. I do like a rotating bezel too. Up to about £400 and not fussy about the brand.

I really like the Christopher Ward Trident C60 Trident 300 in black orange:

https://www.christopherward.co.uk/c60-trident-300-...

But I don’t think it’ll be available for when I’m heading off on my jollies.

Any suggestions will be massively appreciated!

This is what I was going to suggest, the "Bill Gates" Casio Duro.

Scurfa do brilliant spec'd watches for around £250.

All divers and quartz.

Great watches.

Pop a different strap on it if you need to. Quartz with sweeping second hand

Citizen do a range of solar powered dive watches, so you don't even have to worry about changing a battery. This one looks nice in titanium.

I’m liking the Citizens a lot!

Great food for thought. I’ll have a look at the Casio one too.

Many thanks all.

Seconded & less bulky / better looking so fulfils the "One that doesn’t look too bad in the evening." part of the brief quite well.

For £500 I'd want sapphire glass at least.

For 414 Euros I just bought one of these and have to say I'm over the moon with it.

https://eu.yema.com/products/yema-superman-mysteri...

Automatic with their own in house movement.

It arrived on Tuesday and now has a rather nice Fluco black stingray strap on it.

Their quartz watches are 209 Euros by the way.
