Does anyone have any recommendations for where I can get a speedmaster and a seamaster serviced? I’m based in Yorkshire but can be anywhere in UK. I don’t fancy the £800+ that Omega would like. Thanks

Also interested in this as I haven't been wearing mine recently so prob a good time to get it checked over.

Surely there must be a recommendation for an Indy that has the necessary experience.

Not used these guys yet but they were highly recommended:

Have them bookmarked for when my speedmaster is due.

Genesis.
Brampton in Cumbria.
The guy is called Duncan.
Do a search, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
I could not believe the price for my Seamaster repair and service.
He does all top end watches.
Whats handy is the online price list which gives you an idea.
Post or in person.

I’ve only just purchased my first Omega. When it comes to servicing it, do Omega offer a similar post-service warranty to Rolex?

Yeah my seamaster was £300 a few years ago but seems prices have gone up. I’ve one seamaster and 4 speedmasters. Unfortunately the speedies are double the price frown

Another option is Simon Freese. He comes highly recommended.

Ahh yeah.. prices have gone up, to be expected I suppose. Still would pay it when the time comes as my watch came back immaculate.

based here on the isle of Wight

Simon comes in my shop he is a really nice chap, he has just sourced and fitted a silcone strap for my Seamaster. He has just done a full service and I mean full on Missus Zips date just and just serviced my Gunsmiths missus 18ct date just - highly recommended most of the work they do is for London trade by all accounts. The have the ability to make and CNC tiny and obsolete parts and they work on some very rare movements.

Watchguy.co.uk I used for my dads Rolex and was thoroughly happy with the outcome, during the process Christian posts lots of photos, got an itemised bill of all the parts as well.

Cost £260. Rolex wanted £600 + crown,crystal & new bracelet.

If you go to his website and take a look at the "currently working on" section lots of photos there.

Thanks all. After reading reviews I think I’m going to send them to Swiss Time Services or Simon Freese.
