I have an issue with my Royal Oak Offshore, it will work if constantly moving but then stops immediately when it is not moving. It obviously needs repair but the question is do I send this back to AP for an official service and repair (with the reported eye watering costs and massive time it takes) or do I look for an independent repairer. Its out of warranty so that's not an option.

Can anyone recommend an independent repairer for this if recommending option 2.

Thanks.

I'd use Joe at Anglesey Watch and Clocks if you can get hold of him. Or Watchguy (not used but others on here have) who does a photo log of taking the watch apart etc

Both have a good reputation.
