The all white gold Sea Dwellers were never originally that popular, no Sea Dweller was!! All white gold Sea Dwellers are now discontinued so there is no wait list and less chat on forums etc... Also I can’t remember there ever being a credible ‘celebrity endorsement’ which did great things for the yellow gold green dialled Daytona that Jonah Hill wears!!
The OysterSteel and white gold with blue dial is quite possibly the hardest professional model to get your hands on these days, even more so that a Daytona white dial, and is still cheaper and more comfortable than it weighty big brother..

It was John Mayer that first sent the Green/Gold Daytona loopy, then the Jonah Hill photos kicked it on further.
As mentioned, steel and white gold Sky Dwellers are pretty strong on the secondary market. The steel and yellow gold are pretty flat with retail. The precious metals similar. In the original release the pm's had indices not baton markers, which wasn't a great look in my view.
Whatever you decide, they're a lovely watch, and well worth a try. Built like tanks, pretty smart, not too shiny. Definitely a good work watch.
