Just wondering, do you have a case, are they spread over every available surface in your home office?

A safe

Currently I have a 'watch drawer', which is just the top drawer of my bedroom chest of drawers. Lined with a cloth and has my various watches neatly laid out on it.

I have a watch winder which holds 2 watches, and the 2 watches I wear the most live in there.

The new house I'm moving into has a walk-in wardrobe room, and I am dedicating one shelf of it to having my watches all displayed in some sort of small illuminated display cabinet thingy in there, but I have yet to find a cabinet I like. Need something that holds up to 10 watches or so.

Keeping my watches in a safe would probably be the prudent thing to do, but I like to have them displayed so I can look at them.

I am rather fond of Seiko, so I don't think a safe is quite necessary, so no need of a safe.

That is the thing, I just have a few around the house, I just want to get somewhere tidy to keep them that I don't grimace when I see mess rather than my nice watches.

How many do you have?

That will pretty much determine your storage options.

I use boxes like this with the watches on pillows , if I go away I just lift the watches out on the pillows and pop them in a plastic box in the safe

The black watch box came from Finest Boxes on ebay , highly recommend them , lovely thing

Only about 7 watches in the house, nothing that valuable. There are a few KInetics (Seiko or Pulsar), one or two others were left to me by relatives when they passed away; as I was the only person who would really appreciate on receiving them; rather than an instant reply of "worf much?", a few are Swiss, but there are no Rolex or Omega watches. There may be a few more if I see a Kinetic I like in the sales, but I have also been promised a few to me by elderly relatives, so it is anyone's guess what will happen to them... So they know they will be looked after (I already change all the batteries) and they will stay in the family if they are left to me.

I was kind of thinking about a display cabinet, but don't want my house to look like Argos... hehe

Thanks for that I will give them a look, I was sort of thinking to have them vertically in a tower rather than horizontally, but the pillows are a nice idea... I have had the Casio top row of the 2nd photo graph when I was in school nerd

I might have to make something if I can't find something I like. smash

I was looking for a vertical tower as well, and I came up with this:

There are various similar ones on Ebay.

My £95 titanium Boccia is on my wrist during the day & on my bed-side chest of drawers at night.
My, non-functioning, early 1970s Omega De Ville quartz is in the top drawer of my desk; or perhaps some other drawer. Must get it repaired.

Blimey they are cheap, I’ve got a cheap one and it does feel cheap, NOT that the Oakley ones feel luxurious!

I have a lovely cherrywood watch box, which is slightly too wide for my safe, so all in a shoe box!

Blimey a few of them are more expensive than the watches in them, There are quite a few for £10 - £15 on ebay, but they aren't vertical.

Think I will just get a safe...

Or maybe make one myself... and maybe a new desk so it all fits nicely together... with a built in safe... I feel a bit of design magic coming on...
