Thought I'd share in case anyone is in the market.

You may have dodged a bullet. When Ernest Jones have only "one watch" at the discounted price it can often be ex display and not be in great condition hence the price. I have first hand experience of this last month. There is quite a lot of reviews on the website backing up that this wasn't just a one off.
To be fair to EJ I got an Aqua Terra in the sale (didn't go out of stock after I ordered it so had plenty) it arrived in the omega outer cardboard box and watch was fully stickered up.

Read this morning that the FOIS has been discontinued... saw some news out of Australia a few weeks ago, but this seems to now be confirmed. Fratello reported that Omega made over 15000 of them, so doubt they'll ever be a rarity, and they're still widely available at RRP in UK.

Love alpha hands on a speedy
I also like them....but I dislike the way it has been done on the FOIS. Having the the running seconds subdial hand matching the hour/minute hands, but the other two subdials being straight hands, is a bit odd...
If they had left all the subdials straight, put a hesalite instead of sapphire, it would have absolutely knocked it out of the park. Minor/pedantic details of course, and still a fantastic watch.
