Anyone know what to look for as in regards to a fake warranty card. I know what to look for with the older cards but not come across the new style so have no idea what to look for when establishing real or fake.

The card itself looks like something that could be faked in a matter of minutes...

The book however is of a much higher quality...

Not sure if this helps but hopefully a few pointers as to what to look for?

I think the OP means the card that comes with a new Rolex, not the one provided after a service.

The dealer David Khalil has a good video on verifying cards: https://youtu.be/Lv6nYIHtziI?t=934

That's the older style warranty card, I know how to spot a fake one of those. It's the new one I'm after!

That's the older style, NDA. The OP has very politely let us know that he's up to speed on these.

I checked over one of mine from Aug 2020 - no UV light so can't speak to what is meant to be visible in the box above the serial No. but to the naked eye there's a single line of 8 crowns and a couple of lines of ROLEX through the date window.

Serial etc all etched not printed.

The key difference between old and new is the microchip(s) in the card that can be read by dedicated devices at an AD - I've no idea if you could use another type of RFID reader to pick up these though and there's 0% chance a seller will be happy taking their card to an AD to "check the warranty status".

There are a few that I know of:

Gold edging around the card

Rolex block printing above the model number that can only be seen under UV light

Thin silver thread around the date box

Light printing of Rolex crown and ROLEX in the date box

There is a chip in the card that can apparently be read by a card reader that contains the serial number etc but never had the chance to try it

Would not surprise me if all the above had already been copied however to some level at least

Actually just checked and its an rfid chip and I've managed to read it with my phone. Comes up with lots of info and none of it that means much but Rolex does come up in part of it. Cannot see the serial number listed anywhere though.
