Sometimes I just give up

So folks, which bit of the following sequence implies that this is a tasty bit of refreshment?

I mean, really, my youngest son is braindead (and by youngest I mean verging on 18 years of age!)
And why has thumbsnap rotated all my photos that were in a perfectly normal portrait format and show as such on the thumbsnap site? Weird

Remind me why this is in the Watches forum?
Erm, because that is an ultrasonic cleaner and associated cleaning fluid that I was using to clean the parts of a watch that I had stripped down to service? Seemed a fairly appropriate forum really, just like these toys that turned up yesterday...Remind me why this is in the Watches forum?

Not all of us merely buy, sell, collect and insult watches, there are those of us that are OCD enough to work on our acquisitions!

Although my bench really needs a good tidy

Unless that is,there is a PH watchmakers/repairs forum that I have yet to stumble across

Understood - I couldn't see the detail too well on my phone. I humbly withdraw my snark. Not all of us merely buy, sell, collect and insult watches, there are those of us that are OCD enough to work on our acquisitions!

Your cleaning and restoration work sounds very interesting, have you posted any threads on work you've done?

You could have said that in the initial post rather than leave a puzzle for us to decipher?P.s. I think your labelling is not good enough, remove the lemonade label and stick a new one on stating what the liquid is. It may be clear to you, but in poor lighting/hurry people might just not see the scribbles and assume its a soft drink...

Putting something nasty to drink inside a lemonade bottle is stupid.
The idea that marking it with a bit of pen makes it safe is also stupid.
It is too easy for a simple mistake to be made and the outcome could be pretty nasty.
My similar experience - many years ago, the girlfriend mixed up some coolant in a lemonade bottle. It was left on the side in the kitchen, One of us came in, saw the lemonade bottle on the side and popped it in the fridge. Sometime later, I grabbed the bottle from the fridge and took a swig. The liquid inside was blue but nobody saw that. The familiarity of a lemonade bottle overrode the differences and a nasty accident happened.
Find a different bottle - or if you are going to use a drinks bottle, have much much clearer labelling that means it definitely definitely doesn't look like lemonade any more.

I mean, I can see your point, but yeah, taking the lemonade label off would make more sense than drawing hieroglyphs on the lid.
I mean you could easily pick up the bottle with your hand covering the two black lines you've drawn over the lemonade bit, you'd then put your other hand on the cap to unscrew it, and job done
Not to mention it's on the side in the kitchen next to other drinks (the wine), come on man

I have a tale to tell.... Not watch related but car....
Did and brake fluid change and the old fluid was in an glass lucozade bottle (for those old enough to remember those!). Tidied up and left on the shelf.
Few days later, my mum said that lucozade in the garage is off... tasted real bad and not sweet at all.
Luckily no lasting harm done. 90 this year and still going strong! Maybe I should sell brake fluid as a life tonic?

I'm currently on the learning curve but once I've got some decent results then I'll happily post some of my efforts

My lovely Seiko 5 gains minutes in hours despite adjusting completely to far minus and trying a demagnetiser.
I c
