Muhle Glashutte
Discussion
I have been doing some perusing this morning.
I'm looking for an everyday watch that I can maybe dress up a bit with a strap.
Any Muhle owners here? How has the ownership experience been?
There are a couple of models that caught my eye.

I think this looks fantastic, but I'm a little leery of the rubber parts degrading with time.
And.

I like the clean design here and the date hand is a nice touch.
Both of these look quite big at around 42mm, but I wear a Seiko SUN023 which is 48mm across.

Your links don't work.
Don't own one, but had a look at one of these in a shop in Seville a couple of years back and it's a very nice thing that's been on my want list ever since:

After many years of owning quartz watches, the first non-vintage mechanical watch I bought was a Muhle M3 Titanuim, on a titanium bracelet. It's tucked away somewhere, so no photos. Found this one one the 'net:

I think I paid £300 for it, secondhand. Decent enough watch, just a standard ETA 2824

I have been looking at these for a quite a few months, the SAR is my favourite so far, but there is also one called Sea Batallion - that would look nice on a stainless strap.
I'm torn though, because for German makes around this price point, i really like Laco (so much i bought my dad one last christmas, and the quality was amaz\ing, really pleased for the price) . Laco also seem to come up second hand a lot and at very reasonable prices - Muhle seem a little more rare.
I was hoping for some Jan sale on Muhle to get a little keener price, but didnt find anything.........
I wear a SAR rescue timer as my every day watch. It’s on a bracelet and it’s really comfortable. The edges of the case don’t catch as they are profiled not to. It also flies compelling under the radar. No one has asked any questions about it. Unlike my Rolex or omega
The only issue I had with is was I stripped the thread on the crown one day and it had to go back to the factory for repair as my local watch man couldn’t fix it. It wasn’t actually the crown but the tube it screws in to. The factory were very slow, but that’s the same with Rolex and omega. It had a full service while there too.
To sum up, it’s a great watch and I really like wearing it. It’s rugged, reliable, very legible and what I want from a daily watch. The only downside is it’s 36hr power reserve. I can’t think of much to replace it with!
Any questions, please ask and I’ll do my best to answer. There can’t be many of us on here with one!

There are a few rare variants too If you can find one. The anniversary was in red

There is also a bronze one too

Finding one could really take a while though. I’d love the bronze one!
The only other little bit of info I can think of easily if you’re looking at second hand, early ones are marked 1000m, then they switched to 100atm. If you’ve noticed the difference!
