Not everyone's cup of tea, but I'm constantly impressed by what this brand produce. I believe AP previously made the thinnest perpetual calendar watch at a gargantuan 6.3mm (with 4.3mm movement).

This thing is 5.8mm thick, with the movement only 2.75mm eek

I honestly can't get my head around that laugh 408 components apparently, and it has an automatic winder. It's an amazing feat of engineering if nothing else (even more so, I think, from a brand not as commonly associated with watches)...

Yeah did see that announcement. Stunning engineering although for some reason I've never particularly liked the bulgari octo aesthetic.

I have read there are some reliability issues with the 'normal' Bulgari movements - I wonder how this complex movement will fare?

I have a Bulgari. I wanted something unusual, rare and different.

250 piece limited edition. Fabulous quality and unusual design.

I will definitely buy an octo. The GMT chrono is a winner also. Just a great design.

The perpetual calendar above is very impressive. I bet when wearing it’s a stunner.

I almost bought a pre-owned Octo recently, but couldn’t quite commit. I do think they are great looking & they’ve come a long wa from being a jewellery house.

I also think they’ll appreciate in value in the long run as they become more fashionable. The basic steel Octo is the new kid on the block tool watch IMO.

I did try a couple of Oct’s on while on a Cruise ship two years ago, and I have to say it’s by far the most comfortable watch I have ever put on, don’t know if I could buy one though.
