Just ordered a Black Bay with the GMT feature. Just wondering how this works. Taking delivery tomorrow and intrigued

Encapsulating the finest features of the wider collection, this Tudor Black Bay GMT Model Watch incorporates a new GMT function, establishing local time without losing sight of the time in two other time zones.

Move the bezel to the correct time offset and read the hours off the red gmt hand (in 24hrs)

Or watch this for the full exp.

If you keep the bezel at the 12:00/0:00 setting then the GMT hand will read exactly on the bezel. However if you move the bezel then you can set it to another time zone relative to the GMT hand. Therefore the GMT hand when read against the bezel is your third time zone, and the second is the GMT hand against where the bezel would have been had it not been adjusted.

I have my main hands on U.K. time, GMT on New Zealand, and bezel to GMT on Singapore, so I can see at a glance three times.

Clever. Now they’ve mastered time across three zones, perhaps date in one will be sorted rofl

Nice choice of watch, post some pics when you have it.

This whole luxury watch business is a slippery slope, im finding one is never enough.

Here it is, can't change the date so a trip to the jewelers is on the cards. Love the watch though

If it's like my Omega, date will change every 24h when adjusting the quick-set hour hand...

Same technique on my Rolex Explorer II and GMT Master. Probably worth mentioning that you can wind the hand either forwards or backwards to get to the desired date.

They are a handsome watch; the bezel colours really change according to light. Look great on leather too yes

Looks very nice but I've never heard of this brand. I'm not a watch specialist so that's probably why. It reminds me of a Rolex, is there any crossover with design or some sort of link?

Agree about leather. Wear mine on a Steveo strap. Haven't used the bracelet in over 2 years.

Well spotted. Tudor is the little sister of Rolex

Nice, congrats.

Did you order online or from a shop? I’m in the market for a BB58 and a few shops have them in Bath, wondering if you achieved any discount?

i bought it online from Beaverbrooks. To be honest most retailers are the same price apart from watch finder who are £200 more expensive for one that's 2 years old smile

People still think these are hard to get so trying to cash in... most AD have them in the window now.
