Morning!

I got the burgundy tribute from 2019 fairly recently - the same watch in a different colour.

Wears very nicely. Finishing is excellent. Makes a lovely change from other watches I wear. Definitely dressy but works casual as well.

When I first saw it and picked it up I thought it looked small. When you put it on you realise it isn't. The new Tank Must (blue, green and red dials) look and feels small and *is* small by the way!

I played with the case a few times when I got it, but don't really any more. Unless you get something engraved on the back there's little point, but that's exactly why I like knowing it's there.

Green is very 2021. You'll not struggle to shift it if you change your mind.

How long will the wait be? Bet you're very excited.

I totally agree with what has been said above. I picked mine up today (green) and it is different to anything else I have. I have always fancied a reverso as a JLC fan, and this one hits the spot.

While not a fan of square watches, that looks absolutely beautiful.

Lovely watch.
Didn't realise that there was a waitlist for JLC watches...

Burgundy has sold through. Green is still in production but very much in demand, hence the wait/overs.

They look really good in the photos shown above - I love a green watch. Oddly enough, I was reading an article on Quill and Pad yesterday about a Reverso being engraved as a gift for the authors wife and thought that it looked like an excellent idea. Please post up some of yours when you receive it!

I have not seen many come up for sale. This seems to be a watch people actually keep! Odd in these times.

A waitlist for a reverso? Thats new....more madness.

They are nice and the green really pops. Just be careful as JLC steel is a scratch magnet...
Not sure why they had to mess about with the model sizes, but this is too big for my wrists - and in old JLC sizing the 'grande taille' (42 x 26) is the biggest model I can, and do, wear.

It wears pretty small. I mostly wear an E1 36mm or a 37mm KSK and this is a similar size in look and feel.
Have had my burgundy tribute since August and it's not bad for scratches.

The tribute has curved lugs which make it sit very well. Don't write it off over 3mm difference in length unless you've tried it.

Maybe I'm unlucky to have waited so long. Who knows?

What I don't understand is that the duoface version is such a better watch but available immediately. It's £2k more but I can't believe that would be a game changer for someone looking to spend £7k

Proportions for the duo face aren't as nice, it's a bit of a chunk on the wrist, and they don't do it in green or burgundy in the steel (the two colours I want). Other than that..!

I didn't realise that as I haven't seen either in the flesh.
Thanks.
