If anyone was interested in a budget Chinese watch, Ali Express just launched their 11.11 sale.

I finally ordered a Pagani Design to give them a try. Hopefully I don't get stung on import duties.

I just ordered what will be my 5th PD watch and FYI I’ve never been stung by import fees. That’s always paid at checkout.

I had never heard of Pagani Design so just had a look. Blatant rip of of others designs. You might as well just buy a fake from a dodgy website.

The favourite design tool of Pagani is a photocopier.

Having said that, they do make watches which are decent quality for the money, and often contain good quality movements such as Seiko NH35 automatic or the Seiko Mecha-Quartz.

If you really like the look of a Seamaster, Submariner, Daytona or whatever, but cannot possibly afford one, then surely it is best to buy a decent homage from the likes of Pagani, clearly branded as a Pagani, than buy a fake.

Avoid the Pagani Design ‘Speedmaster’, it apparently looks nothing like the rendered photos.

There is a guy in a Facebook group I’m in who has one, and he’s put it on a leather strap and it surprisingly looks rather good. Leather suits it much better than the bracelet.

I have a feeling they have photoshopped the image from the official Omega website. Here’s the original photo.

This is just a dodgy company selling fake watches in every sense apart from name.

And here is where the discussion starts... Fake v copy v homage.

As to Pagani looking like a carbon copy on the website... You are not wrong. They are too lazy to even do new product photos. As another member has already pointed out, you may not actually receive what you see online.

Someone else has already posted images of the Pagani Speedie homage on another page on here recently. IIRC the sub dials are more widely spaced than on the genuine item.
