Palladium reaction

Sorry not a watch but posting here as looking for knowledge and the industries do crossover somewhat.

So despite Palladium being hypoallergenic my wife will get a rash if she wears her rings all the time. Apparently this can happen, and it's possible to plate it?

Does anyone know about this, or where to seek advice?

I know people who use clear nail polish to avoid a reaction from jewelry, maybe worth a try?

Palladium doesn't plate easily unfortunately. Its a poor conductor and goes cloudy in the rhodium solution. For something with such a high value at the moment it still has characteristics from when it was mega cheap 10 years ago.
