Recommend me a day to day watch please!

I flick between wearing my Garmin for sports and everyday wear and my Omega Seamaster for going out although we don't go out anymore much do we!
Recently I have ended up not wearing either as I work from home so much.
I don't have any others but have always had a soft spot for these purely based on looks ( am sure they might get slated but I like the look of them and the motorsport connection and having a soft spot for le mans)
https://www.omologatowatches.com/all-watches/leman...
The problem is its a 42mm watch and my Omega is the same and I would like a chunkier watch (not huge but bigger than 42mm).
The only one Omologato do is this one but I don't like it https://www.omologatowatches.com/derek-bell-500?so...
I only want to spend £400 tops but any others than might fit the bill, have a motorsport connection or similar look or feel rather than a classic look?
I have no knowledge of Watches so over to the expects.
Thanks in advance.

There are loads of offers on Certina chronograph watches at the moment, worth a look.
If the motorsport thing can be pushed aside, Victorinox Inox is a chunky thing and can be found in budget in steel, titanium or forged carbon.
Both would be quartz for the budget, if going for new.
I have examples from both brands and can highly recommend them.

Good work. I can’t find any Certina but this is 44mm and £300 and looks niceIf the motorsport thing can be pushed aside, Victorinox Inox is a chunky thing and can be found in budget in steel, titanium or forged carbon.

Maybe the derek bell omologata might grow on me but I like this Swiss army one for sure.
Not quite got the Motorsport link, but quite a few Seikos will probably have the Bulk you're looking for.
Seiko Prospex Arnie Watch SNJ025P1
Seiko Sumo
Dan Henry have a few decent looking, quite Motorsport inducing watches but maybe a tad small? The Maverick is integrated bracelet so may be a tad bigger on the wrist?
Magratte are quite a popular choice around here. Maybe there's something there which tickles your fancy?

The ones r159 recommended Victorinox seem to be available on the bay. The one I liked for £300 is on the bay for £165 brand new from two different sellers.
Can’t go wrong can I ?

Looks far too 'busy' for me. Not easy to read the time easily. But if it's what you like, as you say, can't go wrong at that money. Can’t go wrong can I ?

I spent last night looking and have definitely come to the conclusion it needs t be chunky and have a white dial as my Omega is black so I guess I want a contrasting colour.
What are Boss Watches like. Seem very cheap but are they junk?
These 3 are my current favourites and I am basing it off looks not price although they are all well under budget.
Any other 44mm or bigger or brands to consider?
£100

For big and chunky you could go TW Steel, with motorsport connections you have the Damon Hill edition in Rothmans colours, over budget but with 20% off should bring it there abouts
https://www.jurawatches.co.uk/collections/tw-steel...
Or if something plainer looking the Solberg edition
https://www.jurawatches.co.uk/collections/tw-steel...
I'm also a fan of G Shocks

Some suggestions from me>
Dan Henry

A little like the Omologato story, but with more watch pedigree.
I have the 1962, lovely Maserati detail on the caseback.. None of these are more than $250-$350 USD and they seem to ship from Europe. You can choose date or no date on some models and some vary by size.. all Seiko movements
https://danhenrywatches.com/products/1962-racing-c...
Steinhart
German Brand with Swiss ETA automatic movements, started with Rolex Homages (Actually a bit bigger and chunkier). I have two.. pure tool watches and pretty robust. For you budget have a dig around. This one has a sort of motoring link as its a homage/ adaptation of the Rolex Steve McQueen favoured.

Tissot
Entry level Swiss, but they are Swiss! some amazing designs at your budget, but if I was after an automotive inspired one this is one of the V8 range.

Citizen
Any of the Promaster range... plenty of chronographs
