Hello, browsing through some Watches and I've noticed the Seamasters Helium Release Valve crowns now seem to have 'HE' cast into the surface.
My Seamaster 300 (James Bond) only has the Omega 'O' on the crown, as is on the normal adjustment crown.
Are all Omegas like this now?
When did this change occur?
My watch was purchased in2010.
Thanks.

Not sure when it occurred but I have a planet Ocean on today which I think is a 2020 model and it has He on the helium release, I have a 2021 Seamaster 300 at home and i'm pretty sure that is the same but i'd have to get it out of the box to double check, don't wear it much as I prefer my PO on rubber strap.

I'm looking to buy a PO on orange rubber.
That's why I'm looking today.
I'll keep my Seamaster though, it was my first decent watch, and I it took a lot of work to buy it!
I always thought the Crowns would be identical.
Every day is a learning day!
Thanks for replying.

Just had a google of 2254s and can see the Omega letter on their He crowns.

If you go to the bottom on this review you can see it - https://www.60clicks.com/omega-seamaster-2254-revi...

My Planet Ocean (2007ish) has 'He' on the crown. The 2254 was available until 2010, so perhaps it changed on the 300s with the introduction of the new model.

Yes, that makes sense.
Thanks.
