Help identify old watches
Discussion
My dad has given me two wrist watches belonging to my late grandad and nan.
The watch with the strap is a ww2 but that's all I know.
The watch with no strap has. A few markings on the mechanism.
Written on the mechanism is Swiss Made Daphne and some symbols that look like flowers but I'm not sure.
Thanks for any info

The one with the strap, is as it says on the rear, is an ATP, which stands for Army Trade Pattern.
It is essentially a Swiss watch of a 'standard style' that was made for both the MOD and the Germans during WW2, under numerous brand names, but usually by the same manufacturer, or by other Swiss makers under licence.
They were available to soldiers for £3 each.

Edit: If you are curious about value, an ATP watch in fully working order is worth around £400-600ish.

Second one looks like a converted ladies pocket watch to me.
