New Tudor models
Discussion
Looking forward to seeing these in the flesh.
Last year I bought a Pelagos and it's still a favorite.

Really like the Pro, only slight negative is the bracelet, but It will work with so many options I would think? I have been musing an Explorer 2, but this ticks a lot of those boxes, and it's something I can buy, at retail and not have to beg
Has anyone tried these on yet?

I'm going to go to the local AD this afternoon to make an enquiry on the BB Pro, see what they say about availability,
i'm not hopeful as I have been on the waiting list for the BB Chrono reverse pandafor months and not heard a thing but will see how it goes.
I do like the Rootbeer too but i'm just not 100% sure on the yellow gold on the strap having seen photos.

Tudor might be hard to get hold of now. Local AD told me in Feb that the Pelagos & BB Chrono are near impossible to get hold of. Hopefully that's changed since then.
It’s funny you say that, at T5 there’s a lack of Pelagos, they used to have all models there frequently.CharlieCrocodile said:

Are you meaning the Pelagos FXD or the standard Pelagos? I can't find the FXD anywhere but a standard Pelagos, there;s an AD near my office that has them immediately available on display in their windowI saw both the BBPro & BBGmt in the flesh today.
Both are great looking and feeling watches and already there's waiting lists. Whilst I was there people were coming in to put their names down. I'm a good customer and was told "some time this year" for the bracelet Pro.
The GMT is a simple watch, slightly smaller than my Explorer 2 but fits great & looks it too. If I didn't have an explorer 2 then I'd order the GMT without a doubt.
The Pro is the in demand watch, especially with the bracelet. I was told there's nowhere near the demand for the NATO strap version so should be easier to obtain, but I doubt I'll be one of the first to get one. It's not too heavy and colourwise the brown is a bit lighter than the pictures show. I can see why it's the popular model over the GMT.

There already out in American.. if it’s anything like the so call waiting list when the origin gmt or BB58 launched you should get the call with in weeks . don’t believe the Tudor hype !!
I've been on a "waiting list" for a while now for both the reverse panda Chronograph on bracelet or nato and also the Pelagos FXD and haven't heard a thing so there are definately waiting lists for some models, I wish it was all hype. I'm starting to get bored of registering my interest in new models to be honest.

It took ~5 months after it was released to get my GMT... I'd called around the usual names just after it was launched and some either said I can be put onto the list but it's big already so the wait won't be short, or, their list is already too big and they wouldn't take any more names..Ernest Jones eventually got me one, but after originally dealing with their Birmingham store, it was the one in Portsmouth that actually got the watch for me.
For the BB Pro, Goldsmiths let me register and said they'll inform me whenever they know more.. Beaverbrooks (of all places) took my details but said if supply is limited then they'd have to prioritise existing customers

It's daft. It's a 3 grand Tudor, not a thirty-grand Patek....
I’m in m/cr so maybe different in other areas of country
But my experience waited 2 weeks to get call from goldsmith in Trafford centre to get BB58 after inquiring about getting the watch did say I wasn’t bothered about which strap a around month after it launched in 2018 .. brother in law wait around 6 weeks to get the new coronagraph black dail last year .. not knocking Tudor think there good vfm but don’t believe the hard to get stuff .. if your serious buyer you won’t be waiting long …

I saw a black dial chronograph in a Goldsmiths window openly for sale a month ago so they are out there. I really want the white dial though which is the more popular version. Black looked very nice though

The GMT is more distinct from your Exp2 than the Pro? You’d get a different design language and then bidirectional bezel with the GMT. The BB Pro GMT is interesting, but not enough for me to do anything about it.
Personally, I'm more interested to see if the introduction of the inhouse movements to the BB S&G range means that they might put it in the BB36 steel.
If/when they do, I will be getting a black faced one, that's for sure.

Not all new but went into the Tudor boutique in Sheffield today.
Pro. Really liked this. Only available to view on this strap but I do think it would be the combo I’d go for (avoiding the riveted bracelet). Aged lume not as bad in real life and matches the contrast stitch. Great size at 39mm.

Bronze. Didn’t realise it was a boutique until I saw this. Absolutely loved it. Didn’t think it would be my cuppa as I’m not a gold watch person but it was really nice. Had a nice tone to it with the brown dial and bezel too. The riveted bracelet seems to work better with the more aged look of the watch.

Silver 36 and 41. Been wanting a light/white dial watch and do like the simplicity of these. I really did like the 36 for what I would treat as more of a dressy watch. Incredible how the two looked so different (in size) in person but in these photos you can barely tell which is which!
