I have one of these, from new in about 2006. The carbon fibre on the strap is stuck onto a core of other material and it wears quite fast; I wore it every day for ~7 years and think I had 4 or 5 replacement straps before I realised it was no longer going to be possible to keep replacing it at a sensible cost. It’s a shame that these straps are an unusual end fitting and so hard to find; I guess Seiko stopped making them.

There are other Sportura straps with the same ends that fit but they aren’t carbon fibre so a poor substitute.
